Most of time we see, the issues came with the Ice dispenser. If you find it too, just check your wire arm shutoff. If you find the wire arm shutoff up position that mean its switch off so simply kickback it down to turn on making the Ice dispenser working.

Now take a look into the Ice-maker’s ejector arm and check if there some stuck ice cubes. If so just clean them using a plastic spoon.

Upon checking all if your Ice dispenser or water dispenser still not working, the water supply could be a problem behind the refrigerator.

Make sure, the water supply valve is totally opened. Simply change the water filter incase the ice maker start making discolored ice or you find the taste or smells funny. You will get the water filter upper right corner of your refrigerator.

To replace the filter firstly turn it counterclockwise to remove the old filter and put the new filter then turn it back to previous place.

After replace the water filter, then turn it on and wait around two minutes to drive the water in the system.

Keep in mind, never try to dig ice from around the evaporate using a sharp tool like knife or something else. If you do so it could be rupture, you might need to buy a new refrigerator. So be more careful on it.

If the fan is not running you have to replace the fanand make sure it’s running neither you might face defrost problem.

Condenser Coils dirty: Simply look the bottom side of the refrigerator to find the condenser coils. They dissipate heat as refrigerant throughout them. So if your refrigerator’s condenser coil are dirty they can’t dissipate heat properly. Then the whole refrigerator will be less efficient and force to working hard to keep cool down. Even your fridge will not be able to maintain proper temperature if the condenser coils are significantly dirty.  So keep check the coils if dirty simply clean them.

Condenser fan motor: Through condenser coils and compressor condenser fan motor draws air. If the condenser fan motor defective your refrigerator will not be cool perfectly. Simply check the fan blade if you find something which making obstruction. Secondly try to run the fan motor blade by hand. If that’s not work to spine the fan motor then you have to replace the fan motor.

Temperature control thermostat: Temperature maintain the thermostat direct voltage to compressor, freezer fan motor and as well as condenser fan motor if required. If temperature control thermostat get defective it will prevent the whole refrigerator from a proper works. To make sure the thermostat defective or not, simply rotate the temperature lowest to highest and listen carefully. If you hear a click that mean the thermostat not defective.

In other hand, if you can’t hear the click sound that mean, its damage. You can use a multimeter to check it for continuity. If you can’t see the thermostat not continuity at under any settings then you have to replace it finally.

Temperature control board: Compressor and fan motors get voltage from temperature control board. So if this control board get damage, it will obstruct sending voltage to the cooling system. Notwithstanding, that’s not a common problem. Control board most of time get misdiagnosed and manipulate the system. Before going to change this control board take a look all other previous common components. If you find all other components are working fine then you have to consider changing this control board?

Start capacitor: During start up the refrigerator the start capacitor provide boost of power to the compressor. So it is simple to guess the compressor may not works if the start capacitor get damage. And at this stays, the refrigerator will stop from cooling.
